Year 7 Awards

Sponsored by members of the community, the Year 7 Awards are an acknowledgement of achievements, commitments and growth of our year 7 students. These students are nominated by Ascot Park staff members and, according to the Award's respective criteria, are presented with their awards at the End of Year Concert. There are three separate Awards with two of each Award presented to one of our year 7 students.

Achievement

Sponsored by the Pan-Laconian Society of South Australia, the Achievement Award celebrates a student's attitude, effort and commitment to learning. Recipients of the Award are also determined on their ability to work with, assist and support their peers as well as voluntary involvement in optional learning activities and opportunities.

Citizenship

Sponsored by Annabel Digance, the Citizenship Award celebrates a student's voluntary involvement in both in-school and out-of-school communities. Recipients of the Award are also determined on their ability to display and take up leadership roles as well as an exceptional representation of Ascot Park Primary's school values of Respect, Responsibility and Excellence.

Active Student

Sponsored by Hannaford Creative Landscapes, the Active Student Award celebrates a student's involvement in sporting activities both during and after school, inclusive of club sports. Recipients of the Award are also determined on their ability to be supportive, reliable and inclusive of their team members as well their attitude and ability to improve on athletic and sports specific skills.

 

David Martin Memorial Leadership Encouragement Award

Sponsored and presented by the Lions Club of Edwardstown Inc., the Leadership Award celebrates one student's initiative and demonstration of leadership skills and qualities.
