Blue Light Living Skills Program

Living Skills is a youth development program for schools and community groups. Students at Ascot Park apply to participate in the program and are selected by how well they have addressed the criteria. The program is run over six weeks during school term for groups of 15 students and students are involved in:

  • excursions to SAPOL sites
  • leadership activities
  • cooking
  • listening to guest speakers (Sammy D Foundation) and
  • A 2-day Echunga Camp

Living Skills Echunga Camp

The program assists young people aged 11 to 14 years to:

  • develop self-esteem and leadership skills
  • become effective members of the community
  • make informed choices and
  • maximise their life choices
