Run every Thursday afternoons from 3:30pm to 5:30pm, the Cooking Club was first established in 2013 for our year 7 students to develop confidence and experience in cooking as well as knowledge of food preparation and hygiene.
Although the Cooking Club does not aim to make any profit, there is a nominal fee to cover the cost of ingredients.
We cook a variety of foods including appetisers, soups, main courses, cakes and desserts. Students also learn the art of plating, serving and hospitality.
At the end of the year, Cooking Club members invite their parents to our 'restaurant opening night' while they prepare and serve a three course meal.
